George M. Benchimol, M.D.
was born in Florida, attended medical school in Puerto Rico, and completed his residency training at the University of Florida/ AGH program. In 1996, Dr. Benchimol served as Chief of Staff for Shands at AGH and is currently an adjunct professor with UF. He is AAFP board certified and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Practice. Dr. Benchimol is listed in the publication of the "The Best Doctors in America", Southeast Region (1996 & 1997). In addition, he is bi-lingual and speaks Spanish. Dr. Benchimol entered the practice in 1986.
