Sharron Carr, ARNP was born in Lodi, Ohio. She graduated from The University of the State of New York with her Associates of Science degree in nursing in 1985 and received her Bachelor of Science and Masters of Science degrees in nursing, with honors, from the University of Florida, where she also completed the advanced registered nurse practitioner program. She is board certified by the ANCC in family practice. She is a member of the American Nurses Association, Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She has extensive experience in clinical trials research, and holds national certifications in oncology and intravenous therapies. Her special areas of interest are in health promotion, prevention, and wellness. Sharron joined GFP in January of 2001.
